Baby Weigh Station Center and Breastfeeding Cafe
A place where new & expecting parents can get professional breastfeeding support, check their baby’s weight, talk with other moms, and connect to community resources.
We offer two different free services for mothers to obtain the support after hospital discharge: Baby Weigh Station and the Breastfeeding Cafe.
Baby Weight Station Center and Breastfeeding Cafe Schedule
Breastfeeding Cafe
The Breastfeeding Cafe is an opportunity for breastfeeding mothers to meet with other breastfeeding families with the support of Lactation Consultants from Oneida Health and Madison County.
Moms can walk in – no referral required. We provide a light lunch and an opportunity for moms to network and share experiences.
Baby Weigh Station Center
The Baby Weigh Station is meant to assist breastfeeding moms so that continuation of breastfeeding is accomplished. Babies can be weighed and you can receive personal breastfeeding counseling from one of our professionally trained Lactation Councilors.
The Baby Weigh Station is open and free to all breastfeeding mothers in the community by appointment. To make an appointment, please call 315-361-2065
What to expect:
- Babies are weighed
- Any breastfeeding problems or concerns are addressed
- Moms may feed their babies and have the baby’s latch assessed by a CLC
- Moms are given a “Weight Card” to record and track babies’ weight gain

How do I schedule an appointment?
To schedule an appointment at the Baby Weigh Station Center, please call our Maternity Center at 315-361-2065.
Appointments are not required for the Breastfeeding Cafe. Walk-ins are welcome.
